I don’t know why I always decide to quit putting off baking bread at about 8 pm. It’s now almost midnight and I have just finished with it. It’s totally worth it though. I’m eating some, still warm, with homemade peach jam. This is the first time in a for quite a while that it’s turned out really well. I think my last batch of yeast died or something, it never rose properly, but I started a new jar and my bread is as fluffy as bread ought to be. And the house smells so damn good too.
