I am staying home from work today.
Yesterday I rode my bike to church (39 km, took me 1:48 riding time, 2:10 total) and thence to White Rock. Part of the way to White Rock anyway (15ish out of 25ish km), my tire busted an inch-long tear in the sidewall and there’s not much you can do to fix that! And nobody stopped to help me. So I started walking and found a friendly-looking house about half a mile later, guy there let me use the phone and filled up my water bottle and James came to pick me up. I had been making pretty decent time too, averaging 26-27 km/h. It was an excellent day though so I guess I can’t complain.
Time to go back to bed now.
