My favourite day.

Today I am canning beets, carrots, and corn. I had the tastiest dinner last night and more of the same for lunch cause it was just so good.

Kale goma-e: Rinse the kale, take out the centre bit, and dry. Fry it in a few drops of sesame oil along with some sesame seeds. Spray it with Bragg’s or soy sauce about halfway through. Should be dry and a bit crunchy.

Beet salad: Grate a raw beet. Dice some pear on top. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Yesterday I had it with corn on the cob, today with steamed carrots.
