I got 10 lbs of beans at the farmer’s market today. So I canned 12 pints (first time doing any pressure canning, it was super easy) and the rest are in the dehydrator.
And I got 24 lbs of tomatoes too. The guy was super nice, he’s French and he’s all “Don’ worree! I gonna get you sunsing nice, you weel like eet.” Cases are 20 lbs and he shows up with 24, plus some cucumbers. At my door? Yes, he delivered them. Gabriel is my new favourite dude. Alas the tomatoes are not QUITE perfectly ripe, so my saucy plans will have to wait till tomorrow or Monday. Awesome holiday weekend! haha
James and I are thinking of going to the Island or the Sunshine Coast or something tomorrow and Monday. I don’t know. He was working today… big contract with a certain huge entertainment company that’s due Tuesday. He hasn’t called me.
Annoying thing of the week: Only one company makes a 1/8 chain breaker. Therefore it is hella expensive.
Awesome thing of the week: JAMES IS BUYING ME A CERTAIN PAIR OF EYELETS FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY.
