I haven't been doing much

Yesterday it finally felt like summer. Almost 20 degrees on the ride home. Love it. I had a nice ride out to Burnaby & back for a meeting. You know, pretty much all I do anymore (besides work) is ride my bike and try to squeeze some knitting in between. Oh, and physio. Haven’t heard a peep from ICBC about any money from my accident, but I have it in writing that they’ll be paying for all this, so I’m not real worried.

Speaking of knitting, I made a stuffed bunny for my sister’s kids. It looks demented. My roommate said if it was out in the wild, she’s pretty sure its mom would abandon it. Thanks Andrea. I don’t care, the kids can play with a demented bunny just as easily. Working on some votive candle holders for my mom, out of wire and beads. It hurts my hands. The green lace scarf for my grandmother is coming along, not nearly as quickly as it did over the Easter weekend when I spent approximately 10 hours on the bus, but it’s not on such a tight deadline either. Some pink socks should be in the works soon, I’m swatching for them now. The stuffed turtle is on hold. James and I finished our stuffed penguin (why so many stuffed animals? I have no idea) and it’s waiting for me to make a nice red bowtie. There are several other projects lurking in my closet, but none worth mentioning.

Next week I’m going to an “Environmental Justice Camp” in Victoria put on by the Anglican church. Hopefully it’ll be a good time and actually worth my taking a week off.
