I froze my fingers and toes in an alley cat on Saturday. It was so cold and wet! I’m rather chuffed though, I finished 27th out of 40. My last effort gave me 21st out of (I think) 24, so I finished in the 32nd percentile, up from 12th and I think that’s a decent improvement? haha. Next time I’m planning on finishing in the top half.
I froze my fingers again this morning riding to work. However, looking out my window, there is some kind of flowering tree (can’t remember what kind, but it’s not cherry) where the buds have been visible for quite some time and now the white petals are starting to peek out of some of them. This makes me smile.
James and I had a good weekend together as well, we rearranged his furniture on Saturday, then on Sunday he made me cinnamon raisin pancakes for breakfast. Then he bought a bike so now we can commute and go on trips together. This also makes me smile! I can’t wait till it’s nice and we can take a weekend trip or something.
