I did a serious grocery shopping trip today. It was great. I love grocery shopping and I got a cart with great wheels on the first try.
I didn’t love walking home though. I shattered my previous walking-home-with-groceries record with a whopping $101.38. Hence my shoulders hurting - I have two big cloth bags that can go over my shoulders, and they each hold at least three plastic bags worth. Plus three plastic bags, and my purse which I found out will hold a 3 lb. bag each of potatoes and apples. I think I had about 60 or 70 lbs? Don’t know, I don’t have a scale. It might have been more.
I had some excellent lasagna for dinner and now I’m having cranberry sauce (yes, in February… I am a cranberry sauce fiend) and a tequila sunrise. I bought that bottle of tequila last Cinco de Mayo and up until today had consumed a total of one ounce of it. Tequila and I don’t get along.
Earlier I went to see You Never Bike Alone with Haley and some people that I just met for the first time. It was nice.
