Both fine cultures, known for their, uhh…. thriftiness? Tight-fistedness? BEING A CHEAPARSE?? James and I met at our favourite coffee shop, and they have a sign that says “Bring a handmade Christmas tree ornament, get a free coffee!” Free stuff eh? I brought a handmade ornament. I don’t even LIKE coffee. Good espresso straight up is fine but not drip coffee. Especially not in the mornings, it upsets my stomach.
Well, at least now I got an upset tummy for free? sigh.
