James and I went on two dates in as many days. Last night we went out for dinner (all you can eat Indian buffet… ooh) and then to see Borat. Funniest. Movie. Ever. I mentioned this to my little brother on the phone today and he was like “whoooaaa, you guys are CLASSSYYYY…. hahah!”
Then today we woke up, snuggled, listened to the Vinyl Cafe, went to Mighty Riders and spent $180 that I don’t really have on a Surly track hub, a pink rim, and a set of spokes & nipples. Imma build me a rear wheel yo!
Got lunch at my house, played backgammon, and took a little afternoon trip to Steveston. We walked around, I picked up some pink yarn (one skein for mittens, and one for a top tube cozy), stopped into the candy store… eggnog fudge for him, orange & dark chocolate for me, and some saltwater taffy to share. I ogled some sewing machines.
Then we went to the bar and shared a half litre of wine and some focaccia. I think every couple should set aside time for drinking together.
Anyway… good day. But tomorrow is alone time I think.
