It’s the place right across from my office. Their stuff is about average I guess, not bad, nothing to write home about. Pretty good. But holy shit they’re fast! They take your order pretty much right when you sit down (a lot of people are regulars and already know what they want) and today I waited exactly one minute for my miso soup, and exactly two more for my 18 pieces. In the middle of lunch rush when the place is hoppin’. With two people it takes about 8 minutes. They give you the bill pretty much the second you’re done eating.
But when you’re paying via Interac, the lady at the cash register asks for your tip and then approximates the total to the closest dollar. Just so you know. In my experience half the time she’s gone up and half down, so I don’t mind if she got an extra 32 cents out of me today.
