And I have to dress professionally. When I went to the temp agency, the lady I spoke with mentioned that normally the dress code at this company is a little less formal, more like business casual, but what I was wearing that day didn’t even measure up to that. “But this is the nicest outfit I have!” I spluttered. She understood, since I’ve been a student and all. “But do go shopping this weekend.”
So, I dropped $230 of my now-precious saved up money, and got myself a killer suit. The pants and jacket are dark grey with very subtle pink pinstripes, the shirt is a solid fitted light greyish blue, and I got some sweet black shoes that are really really comfy. And the expensive black socks (they never get dirty!)
I reeeeally hope I get the job, because even though I’m in love with this outfit, it was way more than I can afford. I don’t think I’ve ever spent as much as that on clothes in one shopping trip before.
