Haven't heard back from the bakery as I expected yesterday. I called this morning and left a message.
Interview today for the receptionist position at the animation studio. Seemed pretty cool actually, they were pretty casual… I was nervous wearing a short-sleeved shirt because of the forearm tattoo, but the person interviewing me (who seemed barely older than me anyway) had a small tattoo on her hand. So, good sign #1, piercings etc. are probably okay! and #2, I like laid-back environments way way more. Although I have never had to sign an NDA for an interview before today… ha!
The rest of the interview was pretty short, typical questions about what my strengths and weaknesses are, how I'd deal with difficult clients and/or coworkers, if I was comfortable with a 7-line switchboard, etc. etc. Hardest one was “What would make you leave this job?” I think I had a pretty good answer, I like to have stability and don't want to bounce around from place to place, but if I landed, say, a full-ride scholarship for my master's degree on the condition that I start now, or if, like, National Geographic offered me my absolute dream job, of course I'd go for it. And I had references all ready and an appropriate-sized list of intelligent questions. I am t3h smart.
Anyway, second interviews next week. I have to get to work writing a kickass thank-you note. Nap first though… so sleepy….
