After a shitty rainy Saturday, James and I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at Harrison Lake. Lovely in the sense of jumping in the lake and then going “ow ow ow it's so cold it hurts ow ow!!” Stupid glacier runoff.
Today I finished painting the trim on James' house and made scratch soup from whatever I could scrounge up out of the kitchen. See, it's only three guys in this house – James, his dad, and his roommate Jeremy. Their idea of cooking is reheating a frozen lasagna they got at Costco. Slim pickins at any time, really, especially for vegans. But, I produced a lovely lentil barley stew.
Anyway, now that the sun's off the front of the house I'm gonna finish painting out there. James' favourite cousin comes home from Korea today, so we're going out tonight. Stay tuned for some stupid drunken ramblings.
