I've had absolutely no luck finding roommates. Therefore, I've gotta find a new place. Looked at one apartment today, it's in a bit of a seedy area but the girls seem really nice… 2 BR apartment made into 3 by eliminating the living room. I know a couple other friends from school that live in the same complex as well. The one that's moving out was in my dorm two years ago, the remaining two are friends of hers. The kitchen's rather small though, and I cook like a muthafucka. Other than that, nice place… walking distance to the boyfriend's house.
The other place I'm going to look at is a six bedroom house, there'll be 7 girls living there. Rent's less (duh) and I always did love living in dorms, but I'm not sure if I'm maybe past that stage now? Anyway, it's only available for the summer whereas the other one has the option of renewing the lease in September.
Since I also have no means of transport and no buses go by my current place of employ – I'm job hunting as well. No big deal I guess, the gas station's convenient since I can walk, but I'm making minimum fucking wage. A good scenario would be me getting transferred to the Chevron accessible from the place I'm moving to, then that'll pay for my food and rent while I'm busy getting a better job.
So, hopefully everything works out well…
