Last night my boyfriend was at a LAN party. Tonight he's off at some concert in Vancouver because a friend of his got a free ticket or something. It's cool, I've been domesticizing myself.
First I made chocolate pudding, which came out very liquidy. All's well though, I put it in the freezer instead and now it's very much like ice cream. Then I made roasted chickpeas which are nice and spicy and crunchy. Following that I started soaking some soybeans so I can make soymilk and tofu tomorrow. I've never tried this before, but I discovered soybeans can be had for $1.30/kg ($0.59/lb), so I bought a kilo. From this I can make as much soymilk as I could buy for $16. I am teh cheapskate.
Next I oiled myself up all facial-like. I'd never tried this before either, but everyone else seems to love it. Even after one time my skin feels really soft, clean, and light. It's lovely.
Continuing in the domesticity, I'm going to knit some more of my alien illusion scarf. This isn't me or my scarf, it's just another girl who did the same one. I only have one and a half heads done. I'm excited about it. I'm almost done my fuzzy blue bikini top as well. It's so skimpy… mwah! I will get my boyfriend to take pictures later
